Debt Problem in Europe and USA

It seems to me that the most important PROBLEM in European Union (and USA) is "FREE Social Security/Government benefits".
Governments spend a MAJOR amount from their budget on unemployment benefits, healthcare, social benefits (which are NOT productive). If the governments are out of money to provide these benefits, they take LOAN from other countries and increase their Debt. As a result, the citizens availing these benefits don't even try to work. Hence, the DEBT crisis in EU and USA.

A solution to the debt problem is to reduce all the SOCIAL BENEFITS and increase TAX on rich people. Peace.

How Politics is a big obstacle for development in India

Here are two examples which explains how politics is literally the biggest reason which hinders progress (human development) in India.

Tata Nano Issue:

A controversy generated by land acquisition of the proposed Nano factory of Tata Motors at "Singur (a town)" in Hooghly district, West Bengal, India.
Singur gained international media attention since Tata Motors started constructing a factory to manufacture their $2,500 car, the Tata Nano at Singur. The small car was scheduled to roll out of the factory by 2008.
The state government of West Bengal facilitated the controversy by using an old rule to conduct an eminent domain takeover of 997 acres (4.03 km2) of farmland to have Tata build its factory. The rule is meant for public improvement projects, and the West Bengal government wanted Tata to build in its state. The project was opposed by activists, displaced land owners and opposition parties in Bengal.

Reason behind the protests when Tata decided to open a factory in west Bengal:
The state government and bureaucrats sold the land to Tata but the bureaucrats didn't compensate some farmers who own the land. The opposition took advantage of this situation and protested against the state government. Tata didn't want to involve in this political issue and moved the factory to Gujarat. The land still belongs to Tata as they have paid for it. The opposition won the next elections and the farmers still don't have their land back or receive any compensation. The political drama has ended. The losers are the farmers in the end as they also missed future development opportunity or jobs that would have been created if Tata installed the car factory there.

Vedanta Issue:
A tribal group in India backed by social activists and NGOs is fighting against Vedanta Resources, a mining company, which is trying to mine ore from the Niyamgiri Hill, rich in bauxite.
These tribal people chooose to live in agony instead of living a better life. Why?
The reason behind this is the Indian politics. The state government wants development and educate the people while the opposition parties doesn't want that to happen as literate people will see development and will not vote for them in future. So, they are backing the social activists and the tribal leaders to protest. In 2010 India's environment ministry ordered Vedanta Resources to halt a sixfold expansion of an aluminium refinery in Orissa, thus not allowing any future development opportunities for an iindefinite time.

Online Activism and the role of social media

Online Activism:

By commenting, blogging, tweeting, text-ing, we are actually spreading the word to as many people as we can... It is called as virtual volunteering!

Media Activism such as internet activism and hacktivism play a very BIG role in the civilized world today.

Examples include Egypt revolution, UK protests, Anonymous, PGA protests at Geneva, 2000 US presidential election vote recount, IAC etc.

--

So to all those critics who say "people can only comment on Facebook and cannot do anything to bring change" just STFU.. At least the people who are spreading the message are doing their part of volunteering to bring change.. what have you done?

"BritishRaj" vs "GandhiRaj or CongressRaj"

Earlier it was BritishRaj in India... then the bastard Nehru came in power, divided the nation and his dynasty is successfully running "GandhiRaj or CongressRaj" . India is still divided in terms of caste, language, social and economic disparity.. Therefore, I doubt that the "Anna revolution" will be a success.. History has proven that Indians were never united.. (ex. Bhagat Singh and Azad vs takla Gandhi, Laxmibai vs traitor kings, Netaji Bose vs takla Gandhi, etc.)

The Indian independence was a result of the INA's revolt, Bombay mutiny and the killings by revolutionaries... Britishers still thank takla Gandhi and their dog Nehru as the non violence theory was not killing the British people.. Hence, takla Gandhi is made famous and described as a hero in history books (inspired by Britishers and their dogs) while people like Netaji Bose, Bhagat Singh are criticized in the books.

Judgement Day - The day of Rapture. May 21, 2011. What?

Harold Camping, an American Christian radio broadcaster predicted that the world is going to end on May 21, 2011 or the Judgement Day. He supported his theory with Bible readings. Many Christian believers thought that Harold Camping was right and feared that they will die. They donated money to Harold Camping's Family Radio so that Harold can spread the word and tell people to follow the path of Jesus before the Judgement day.

Harold Camping has become a multi-millionaire in last few years just by fooling the dumb believers. Many of them have spent their life savings in supporting/believing the Judgement Day theory & have nothing left today. They are just cursing the old man. Anyone stupid enough to give money to Harold Camping/Family Radio deserves the consequences they get.

A lesson learnt for them and the young genefration.
Now don't think a lot about December 21, 2012.

NASA - Space shuttle launch: STS 134 Endeavour

My first experience to see a LIVE space shuttle launch.. A dream come true.
It was amazing to see the space shuttle lift off in the air. The sound was like thousand jets taking off at same time. Once in a lifetime experience. :)
Here is an image of the space shuttle (clicked by me):

Nice Poetry by Sahir Ludhianvi

Zulm phir zulm hai, badhta hai to mit jaataa hai
Khoon phir Khoon hai, Tapkega to jam jaayega!

Khaak-e-sehra pe jame, yaa kaf-e-qaatil pe jame
farq-e-insaaf pe, yaa paa-e-salaasal pe jame
tegh-e-bedaad pe, yaa laasha-e-bismil pe jame
Khoon phir Khoon hai Tapkega to jam jaayega!

laakh baithe koi chhup chhup ke kameen gaaho mein
Khoon Khud deta hai jallado ke maskaan ka suraagh
saazishein laakh udati rahein zulmat ka naqaab
le ke har boond nikalti hai hatheli pe chiraagh
zulm ki kismat-e-nakaarah-o-rusvaa se kaho
jab’r ki hikmat-e-purkaar ke eema se kaho
mehmal-e-majlis-e-awaam ki laila se kaho

Khoon deewana hai, daaman pe lapak sakta hai
shola-e-tund hai, Khirman pe lapak sakta hai

tum ne jis Khoon ko maqtal mein dabaanaa chaaha
aaj vo kuchaa-o-bazaar mein aa nikla hai
kahi shola kahi naarah.. kahi patthar ban ke
Khoon chalta hai to rukta nahi sangeeno se
sar jo uthtaa hai to dabtaa nahi aaeeno se

zulm ki baat hi kya, zulm ki aukaat hi kya
zulm bas zulm hai, aagaaz se anjaam talak

Khoon phir Khoon hai, so shakl badal sakta hai
aisi shaklein ke mitaaoo to mitaaye na mite
aise shole k bujhaao to bujhaaye na bujhe
aise naare k dabaao to dabaaye na dabe
Zulm Phir Zulm hai...

Here’s a translation of the poetry:

Repression is sill repression
Rising, it must flop
Blood is sill blood
Spilling it must clot.
Whether it clots on desert sands
Or upon assassin’s hands
On justice’s head or around shackled feet
On injustice’s sword or on the wounded corpse
Blood is still blood
Spilling, it must clot.
However much one lies in ambush
Blood betrays butcher’s hideout
Conspiracies may veil in thousand darkly mask
Each blood drop ventures out with burning lamp on its palm.
Tell oppression’s vain and blemished fate
Tell cruelty’s crafty Imam
Tell the Nations of the World
Blood is crazy
It can leap up to the cloak
It is inferno, it can flare up to burn grain-stock.
The blood you sought to suppress in abattoir
Today that blood moves out into street
Here an ember, there a slogan, there a stone
Once blood comes to flows
Bayonets are no avail
Head, once it is raised
Is not downed by law’s hail.
What is about oppression?
What is with its impression?
Oppression is, all of it, but oppression
From beginning to end
Blood is still blood
Myriad form it can assume
Forms such as are indelible
Embers such as are inextinguishable
Slogans such as are irrepressible.

Inside the Box - Constructive Catering

I am working as a marketing intern for the "Inside the Box" program which is associated with "Metropolitan Ministries (A Non-Profit Organization)" for a very good cause.

The tagline of the program is: "A meal for you. A meal for them."

"You" are the people who have all means and can afford an exotic meal.
"Them" are those who does not have enough means to afford food for their family.

So how does it work?

"You" buy an exotic lunch box from "Inside the Box" = "Inside the Box" help the Metropolitan Ministries by providing regular food to "Them".

Therefore, everyone will be better off.. How?
"You" will get delicious lunch from "Inside the Box".
"Inside the Box" will receive profits.
"Inside the Box" will provide food to "Them".

Revolution in Libya

Now Libya has the highest HDI in Africa and the fourth highest GDP (PPP) per capita in Africa... What do the people want there? Human Rights? Why don't they understand that even if Gaddafi leaves his position, they will still be in the same boat as their so called "religious leaders" have created boundaries for them...

Do you have answers to these questions?
Will women be SAFE in EGYPT or any of these countries without burqa/hijab after revolution??
Will any one of these countries eventually become a SECULAR STATE??
In my opinion, I don't think so... (Not every country is Turkey.. Iran tried and failed to become secular..)

The Gandhi (Nehru) Dynasty's Bitter Truth..

"At the very beginning of his book, "The Nehru Dynasty", astrologer K.N.Rao mentions the names of Jawaharlal's father and grandfather. Jawahar Lal's father was believed to be Motilal and Motilal's father was one Gangadhar Nehru. And we all know is that Jawaharlal's only daughter was Indira Priyadarshini Nehru; Kamala Nehru was her mother, who died in Switzerland of tuberculosis. She was totally against Indira's proposed marriage with Feroze.

Why? No one tells us that!

Now, who is this Feroze? We are told by many that he was the son of the family grocer. The grocer supplied wines, etc. to Anand Bhavan (previously known as Ishrat Manzil).

What was the family grocer's name?

One frequently hears that Rajiv Gandhi's grandfather was Pandit Nehru.

But then we all know that everyone has two grandfathers, the paternal and the maternal grandfathers. In fact, the paternal grandfather is deemed to be the more important grandfather in most societies.

Why is it then, no where, we find Rajiv Gandhi's paternal grandfather's name? It appears that the reason is simply this. Rajiv Gandhi's paternal grandfather was a Muslim gentleman from the Junagadh area of Gujarat. This Muslim grocer by the name of Nawab Khan, had married a Parsi woman after converting her to Islam.

This is the source where from the myth of Rajiv being a Parsi was derived. Rajiv's father Feroze, was Feroze Khan before he married Indira, against Kamala Nehru's wishes.

Feroze's mother's family name was Ghandy, often associated with Parsis and this was changed to Gandhi, sometime before his wedding with Indira, by an affidavit.

The fact of the matter is that (and this fact can be found in many writings) Indira was very lonely. Chased out of the Shantiniketan University by Guru Dev Rabindranath himself for misdemeanor, the lonely girl was all by herself, while father Jawahar was busy with his life.

Feroze Khan, the grocer's son was then in England and he was quite sympathetic to Indira and soon enough she changed her religion, became a Muslim woman and married Feroze Khan in a London mosque.

Nehru was not happy; Kamala was dead already or dying. The news of this marriage eventually reached Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (better known as Mahatma Gandhi).

Gandhi urgently called Nehru and practically ordered him to ask the young man to change his name from Khan to Gandhi. It had nothing to do with change of religion, from Islam to Hinduism for instance. It was just a case of a change of name by an affidavit. And so Feroze Khan became Feroze Gandhi.

When they returned to India, a mock 'Vedic marriage' was instituted for public consumption. On this subject, writes M.O. Mathai (a longtime Private Secretary of Nehru) in his renowned (but now suppressed by the GOI! ) 'Reminiscences of the Nehru Age' on page 94, second paragraph: "For some inexplicable reason, Nehru allowed the marriage to be performed according to Vedic rites in 1942. An inter-religious and inter-caste marriage under Vedic rites at that time was not valid in law. To be legal, it had to be a civil marriage."

All Indians - We need a revolution!!

Make it your MISSION to:

- Remove illiteracy.

- Educate poor people who give votes to corrupt politicians for some exchange (like money/cloths/alcohol/etc.) and tell them NOT to vote for corrupt people.

- Remove Caste system from the nerves of India. Get rid of the caste based reservation system.

- Get rid of Corrupt bureaucrats, judges, police officials and politicians.

- Speak Up! Whenever somebody is taking/giving bribe, speak up. Do whatever you can to expose the corrupt guy. Take videos, photos and publish them in local media/internet.

- Speak up when you see wrong things. Example: Speak up when you see someone who is beating a lady in public or Stop guys involved in eve-teasing.

- Make a pledge not give/take bribe.

- Not give money to baggers or take anything from them.

- Teach a lesson to the "BAD" News Channels by not watching them and spreading the word in public. Stop watching IndiaTV, Aaj Tak, IBN7, Sahara Samay, Star News.
watch DD News, CNBC (English), NDTV24x7, Doordarshan for NEWS.

- Follow the path of HUMANITY. Believe in GOOD. Do good, be good.

Things to do - Gyan Guru

We humans are the creator of all religions." Who cares what the name of "God" is? Believe in a divine power but don't think too much about it. After all, life is short and there are so many good things to do. In your spare time, Go out with your friends to whatever place you like. Go to beaches, forests, mountains, lakes or busy Road of your town. Hiking is fun. Read history books, watch National Geographic/Discovery, etc. for general knowledge (better then some news channels). Listen to Music. DO NOT Gossip or talk about people. There are so many other things to start conversations. Well, some people say don't discuss politics, etc. BUT I say that discuss politics (NO Organizational Politics), religions, regions and try to gain more knowledge about different cultural insights of people. Keep in touch with your old friends. Enjoy Life!! Make the world a better place to live.. :)

Do you think that India needs a revolution (just like Egypt) against the corrupt politicians and the worst Judicial System?

People will say: Who is responsible for corruption?
And the answers would be: "Common man" as the common man bribe government officials!

Wake up!! Its not the common man!
It is the corrupt system and the government officials who don't do any work until they are bribed. I am a strong opposer of giving and taking bribe.
I blame the illiterate people in India for this as they are the one who think that their work cannot be done without bribing the officials. They are the one who are watering the corruption tree.

By the way, Its not only the bribe..
How can you forget the multi-billion dollar scams that happen almost every month in India from the last 5 years in the name of Oil, Seeds, Wireless communication, sugar, land, tax money, etc. The list is countless. All money goes in the pocket of bloody politicians. What about Kasab or Afzal Guru?

Its the political and judicial system in India which needs to be changed. Speak up! Don't blame common man. Change the laws to punish Corrupt officials.
I am speaking by the means of social media and writing blogs.. What about you?

A letter to an INDIAN News Channel.

You are one of the worst news channels in India... doing NOTHING for the good of India.

I am in the US right now and the "Indian NEWS" on TOP here is about Vibrant Gujarat and the amazing investments there. However, I was not able to see that news on your online channel/website.
Not only you.. most of the channels in India didn't cover the great achievements earned by Gujarat and the CM Modi. Do you guys have a problem with Narendra Modi? I think your CEOs have a problem with the growth of INDIA!!

Wake up guys. You are journalists. You should not support any party or politician. You should show the positive developments which are happening in India. Not only in Gujarat, but also in states like Himachal Pradesh, etc.
You should show such news that gives positive sense for the Indian viewers.

Regarding the INFLATION: you guys have enough resources to remove the root cause of inflation by exposing all of them: "Politicians and the middlemen between farmers and consumers".
We all know the reason but can't do anything. You just have to teach them a lesson by exposing them to the media on a national level.

I know that the judicial system of India is a hell.. with more then 50lac cases open, few hundred more cases will just be a cherry on top on the "poop ice-cream". But you have to take action!

Also, WHY don't you expose the INDIAN COURT SYSTEM??
It is the WORST Judicial system in the WORLD! Start a program which cover just a single case or two every week and expose all the judges, advocates, etc.
NO.. You won't do THAT!!

Just an example: What about KASAB?? haa? In my opinion and several hundred others.. the ass**** is still ALIVE after killing more then 50 people just because he is a MUSLIM?? WHY? WHY? WHY?

And every week, you show political SCAMS.. BUT have you ever showed what happened to the politician in the scam after the case goes in the court? You just take money and shut your mouth.. whenever you need more money, you just show that Scam again on your channel and then change the topics when you get the money again.. You losers...

Please, Please, Please.. try to be a better journalist and show what is real and makes most sense for the good of India. I don't wanna see the news of "Aliens drinking Cow's milk" or "Cat stucked on a tree" or "Tiger's love triangle"!!
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!

No regards,
Sharang
